Driver Qualifications

The Right Stuff

To become a Sunrise Transportation School Bus Driver, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid driver’s license (for at least three consecutive years) and a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED

  • Able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with School Bus and Passenger endorsements (We provide paid training!)
  • Strong knowledge of local roadways
